Job Title: Classroom Technician / Assistant - Waste Management

Location: York - Centre based

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:
Work closely with the Classroom Tutor, to ensure the Waste Management workshop environment is clean, organised and compliant with Health and Safety regulations.
Provide technical and practical support to learners, during lessons.
Set up practical demonstrations and activities, alongside the Tutor.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners within the classroom.
Monitor and maintain waste segregation, recycling systems and safety procedures.
Ensure that materials and equipment are made available and organised for training sessions.Criteria:
Hold a level 2 qualification, or equivalent experience, in Waste Management, Environmental Services or similar.
Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Please note:
