About the Role

Trevett Services are seeking a skilled and qualified Days Electrician to join a dedicated site team at a commercial data centre in Farnborough. This role involves providing comprehensive electrical maintenance, repairs, and support within a critical environment, ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of all electrical systems.

You will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and small-scale installations, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with site management and other trades to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.

Upgrade lighting systems to LED across the site.

*

Perform electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial systems.

*

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance requests.

*

Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and safety standards.

*

Maintain detailed records of work performed and any remedial actions.

*

Collaborate with site management and other trades to support smooth operations.

*

Work independently and follow safe working practices at all times.

Requirements

*

Recognized electrical qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.

*

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.

*

Proven experience working as an electrician in a commercial or critical environment.

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

*

Sound understanding of health and safety practices and electrical regulations.

*

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

*

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

*

Confident, calm under pressure, and proactive in problem-solving.
