Job Title: Data Engineer x 2 (Contract)
Location: Manchester (1–2 days onsite per week)
Engagement: Outside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £400 - £450 per day

About the Role
I'm working with a leading professional services client in Manchester who are embarking on a CRM migration project from Zoho to SQL Server. They are seeking 2 x Data Engineers to join on a contract basis to support the design, development, and implementation of the migration and associated data pipelines.

This is an Outside IR35 engagement with flexibility to work remotely, requiring just 1–2 days per week onsite in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust ETL processes to support the migration from Zoho to SQL Server.

Develop and maintain data integration workflows using SSIS.

*

Work with stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness throughout the migration.

*

Optimise and maintain data models within SQL Server and Snowflake.

*

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best practices in data engineering and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience with SQL Server (development, optimisation, administration).

*

Strong ETL and SSIS expertise.

*

Hands-on experience with Snowflake DB.

*

Background in data migrations, ideally CRM-related projects.

Nice to Have

*

Exposure to Azure Data Factory.

*

Experience with Zoho CRM.
