This is an 'Outstanding School' (Ofsted rated) with just over 1000 students on roll, aged 11-18 years. They offer excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their career, including ECTs. Ofsted found pupils at the school to be "happy, well cared for and that they secure excellent academic and personal outcomes". They described the students as "polite, respectful and courteous." The school is extremely proud of their pupils and of all their staff who contribute to the purposeful learning culture within the school.

The Role - Design and Technology Teacher:

* Teaching Design and Technology to GCSE.

* Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.

* Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

* Contributing to the well-resourced Design and Technology department.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Degree in Design and Technology.

* PGCE or QTS or other relevant qualification.

* Experience as a Design and Technology Teacher, teaching to GCSE.

Salary:

The salary for this Design and Technology Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract: MPS/UPS.
