Mazco Recruitment are proud to partner with a well-established precision engineering company based in Fareham, known for their high-quality machining work across a range of industries. Due to ongoing demand and investment in modern CNC machinery, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their skilled team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exacting standards.
This is a hands-on role within a clean, well-equipped workshop environment, offering a great mix of modern technology and steady workflow.

Machinery & Software:

*

3-Axis YCM machining centres (travel sizes from 760 x 500 mm up to 1020 x 600 mm)

*

2 x DMG MORI CMX 70 U 5-Axis machines (3+2 configuration)

*

Heidenhain controls throughout

*

Offline programming with Lemoine RTM

Key Responsibilities

*

Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls

*

Create and optimise programs offline using Lemoine RTM

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings to tight tolerances

*

Perform in-process inspection and ensure parts meet quality standards

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

*

Work collaboratively with other machinists and engineers

About You

*

Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Programming, Setting, and Operating)

*

Skilled with Heidenhain controls

*

Experience with Lemoine RTM or similar offline CAM software desirable

*

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

*

Reliable, proactive, and a team player

What’s on Offer

*

Hourly Rate: £15 – £20 (depending on experience)

*

Hours: 40 hours per week

*

Overtime: Optional and paid at 1.5x (availability reviewed weekly)

*

Holidays: Up to 30 days + Bank Holidays

*

Typically start on 22 days, increasing by 1 day per year of service (max 30)

*
