Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Altrincham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Summary of Role Purpose

Our client is a leading distributor of aluminium systems for the building industry. They supply a variety of roller shutters, windows, and doors to clients across the UK.

The role involves:

Loading and unloading containers ready for dispatch.
Handling a wide range of building products.
Performing other warehouse duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
Occasional van driving for deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Safely load and unload goods from containers.
Ensure products are handled with care and stored correctly.
Drive company van for deliveries when required.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

Previous experience in loading/unloading containers.
Valid full UK driving licence.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (approx. 8 hours per day).
Breaks allocated according to shift length (unpaid)
