A warm and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role involves supporting a pupil with autism and ADHD, helping them access learning and manage daily routines.
If you're experienced in SEN, this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a rewarding and stable role within a welcoming school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD and ADHD
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
Use structured routines and strategies to support learning and behaviour
Encourage emotional regulation and positive interactions
Monitor progress and adapt support as neededRequirements:
Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or higher)
Confident supporting behaviour needs in a primary setting
Empathetic, patient, and committed to long-term work
