We’re working with a large and inclusive secondary school in West London to find a dedicated Sixth Form Administrator (SaFE Worker) to join their team. This is a key pastoral and administrative role focused on student wellbeing, academic progress, and engagement within the Sixth Form.
The role is available on a temporary basis to start immediately, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position supporting Sixth Form students and families to overcome barriers to learning. You’ll work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and wider pastoral team to coordinate interventions, track attendance and behaviour, support with safeguarding, and manage key Sixth Form processes such as admissions, bursary, and work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor attendance, punctuality, behaviour and learning engagement
Provide pastoral care and wellbeing support to students
Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies to provide joined-up support
Coordinate Sixth Form admissions and open events
Deliver study skills sessions and support students in independent learning spaces
Manage careers/higher education communications and work experience placements
Administer the 16–19 bursary and maintain accurate records
Provide safeguarding support and contribute to student welfare plans Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral capacity
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
Confident communicator with good IT and record-keeping skills
Calm, approachable and professional with a commitment to inclusion
Understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working is a strong advantage What’s on Offer:
