An established and growing environmental consultancy based in Newport is seeking an Ecologist to join its expanding team. The role will involve a mix of fieldwork and reporting, supporting a wide range of ecological surveys and projects across the region. Key Responsibilities;
Undertaking ecological surveys, including preliminary ecological appraisals and protected species surveys
Assisting with ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies
Supporting project delivery and liaising with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Contributing to habitat assessments and biodiversity enhancements
You will ideally have;
A degree in Ecology or a related discipline
Some field survey experience (protected species experience beneficial but not essential)
Strong written and communication skills
A practical, enthusiastic approach to ecology and teamwork
A full UK driving licence is desirable
