Job role: Control Systems Engineer

Basic - £55,000 + Overtime + Yearly Bonus + Training Opportunities

Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT

Our client, a leading specialist gas power company, with facilities across the country, are looking for a experienced control systems engineer to manage all site maintenance and installation of production machinery, automated Machinery, robotics, control systems.

The main responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer will include.

* Ensuring all control, instrumentation, systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably

* Performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices

* Installation, commissioning, and full setup of new equipment and control systems

* Control system programming and configuration (DCS, PLC, and associated safety systems)

* PLC setup, programming, modification, and troubleshooting

* Configuration and maintenance of HMI and SCADA systems

* Electrical fault finding on low, medium, and high-voltage auxiliary systems

* Electrical wiring, panel termination, and control cabinet modifications

* Supporting plant outages, shutdowns, and return-to-service activities

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required:

* NVQ level 3 in an Electrical discipline

* 18th Edition

* Experience on PLC Systems and Relays.

* Experience as a Electrical Engineer / EC&I Engineer / E&I Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Multi Skilled Engineer

* Experience of Electrical maintenance within any of the following backgrounds - Gas Generation / Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals / Manufacturing / Chemical / Power Generation / Power Generation / Generator / CHP Units / Biogas
