As a Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for KS5 depending on experience

Planning and delivering dynamic lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking

Preparing students for GCSEs and A-Level Biology through effective assessment strategies
*
Promoting scientific enquiry through experiments and practical investigations
*
Supporting science clubs and enrichment activities to enhance student engagement
*
Collaborating with colleagues to develop an outstanding science curriculum

Tracking student progress and providing tailored intervention when necessary
Ideal candidates for the Biology Teacher role will:

Hold a Biology-related degree and QTS or PGCE
