Trailer Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in trailer maintenance, welding, and fitting.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trailers

Welding and fabrication work (MIG/TIG/Arc as required)

Fitting and replacing trailer components including brakes, axles, suspension, and landing legs

Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently and safely

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or similar role

Competent in welding and fabrication

Strong mechanical knowledge of trailers

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Desirable (but not essential):

Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds)

HGV licence

Experience with LOLER inspections
