At Saint-Gobain Abrasives we're looking for a Finance Intern to work in our Finance Team, helping to deliver an outstanding customer service.

This Finance Intern role will be a part of our Finance Team based at our Stafford offices. We're a small but busy team who are responsible for finance across our UK and Nordics operations. We're a supportive bunch and are excited to welcome someone who can strengthen our team by performing some of our essential finance activities, thus ensuring we deliver on time, every time. This is a Monday to Friday role working 37 hours per week. We can be flexible on start on finish times as long as core office hours are covered, and there may be the potential for hybrid working too.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY - WE ANTICIPATE A DURATION OF AROUND 4 MONTHS.

What we're looking for:

A qualification in maths, accountancy, finance, business or similar
Strong attention to detail is critical in this role
A good communicator, both verbally and in writing
A curious mindset, we need someone who isn't afraid to ask questions
Ability to work to deadlines
Some work experience in a finance setting would be advantageous although not essential
Excellent MS office skills (high level of Excel a must)What you will be doing:

Administrative activities associated with customer rebates
Investigating variances
Creating and maintaining Excel files
Financial reporting activities
