Job Title: Designer / Senior Designer – Rainscreen Cladding
Location: Hyadock - Hyrbid working available after probation
Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Us:
We are a specialist contractor in the building envelope sector, delivering high-quality rainscreen cladding solutions across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a talented Designer or Senior Designer to join our dynamic team.

The Role:
As a Designer/Senior Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed design drawings and specifications for rainscreen cladding systems. Working closely with our project managers, estimators, and installation teams, you will play a key role in ensuring design integrity, technical compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software

Develop full drawing packages for client approval, fabrication, and installation

*

Liaise with architects, main contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

*

Ensure designs meet all relevant building regulations and technical standards

*

Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues

*

Support the project team through all design stages from concept to completion

*

Assist with site surveys and as-built drawings when required

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in rainscreen cladding or façade design

*

Proficient in AutoCAD

*

Strong understanding of cladding systems, detailing, and building regulations

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

*

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

*

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

*

Relevant qualifications in construction, architecture, or engineering
