We’re hiring for an Assembly Fitter to join a forward-thinking engineering team at their state-of-the-art site in Stockport.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a background in welding or fabrication, offering the chance to work on high-spec components as part of a skilled and supportive production team.

What will you be doing as an Assembly Fitter?

* Interpreting technical drawings and work instructions

* Assembling components to meet precise tolerances and specifications

* Using tools and measuring equipment such as micrometres and verniers

* Selecting the correct tools, equipment, and materials for the task

* Following health & safety procedures at all times

* Reporting faults and logging production activity using SAP

* Keeping your work area organised and safe

What do you need?

* Practical welding or fabricating experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

* GCSE Grade C/Level 4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)

* Familiarity with key production processes and safe working practices

* A time-served apprenticeship in welding, fabrication, or a related discipline (desireable)
