Warehouse Operative – 6-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Role

? Cheltenham | ? Mon–Thurs, 2:00pm–11:30pm (Shift Allowance from 7:30pm)

Meridian is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a small and friendly logistics team within a clean, modern engineering facility in Cheltenham. This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

? Key Responsibilities:
Unpacking and storing goods
Picking items to order and updating stock via handheld scanners
Packing goods for dispatch
Completing associated paperwork
Verifying container contents and reporting discrepancies
Assisting other team members as needed? What We’re Looking For:
Prior warehouse experience
Good literacy and numeracy skills (e.g. checking part numbers, basic paperwork)
Comfortable working at height (occasional use of VNA truck)
Experience with forklifts, powered pallet trucks, or lifting equipment is a plus
VNA licence/experience is desirable but not essential? Location: Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, and surrounding areas.
