About the Role
As a DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching DT across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for A-Level teaching.
• Leading engaging, hands-on lessons that build problem-solving and design skills.
• Supporting coursework, project work, and portfolio development.
• Maintaining a safe and inspiring workshop environment.
• Collaborating on curriculum development and new technology initiatives.
• Participating in subject-specific CPD and enrichment activities.
• Encouraging innovation and resilience in all learners.

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Design and Technology or related subject
• PGCE/QTS with DT specialism
• Strong understanding of health and safety in workshops
• Ability to teach a broad range of DT disciplines
• Excellent classroom management and planning skills

Salary
This DT Teacher position is paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
