Role Responsibilities

You will teach Design & Technology to students from Years 7 through to GCSE level, delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop technical understanding and creativity. You will support students’ project work, oversee health and safety in the workshops, and help run extra-curricular clubs such as robotics or makerspace.

The school provides a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme tailored to support Early Career Teachers, with opportunities for professional development and career progression within the department.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, Product Design, or related field

*

Qualified Teacher Status or on track to achieve QTS by July 2025

Enthusiastic about practical, project-based learning and developing students’ design thinking skills

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach

Willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities and STEM events
