A creative and forward-thinking secondary school in the Stroud area is seeking an Art and Design Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role involves teaching KS3–KS4, with the option to teach KS5 for candidates with relevant experience.

The Art department is well-resourced and passionate about student creativity, regularly showcasing work in local exhibitions and hosting visiting artists.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons in a variety of media

*

Support students with GCSE and A-Level coursework and sketchbook development

*

Organise and lead enrichment such as clubs, gallery visits, and workshops

*

Contribute to collaborative projects across the wider Creative Arts faculty

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Art or Fine Art degree with PGCE and QTS

*

Experience teaching a range of materials and techniques (painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital)

*

A reflective, innovative teaching style

*

Willingness to contribute to whole-school creativity initiatives
