Teacher of Spanish with French – Maternity Cover

Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 FTE (Paid to scale)

Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wellingborough to recruit a Teacher of Spanish with French. This is a maternity cover position, ideal for a dedicated and passionate language teacher who is committed to fostering a love for languages and cultural learning.
The Role:
The successful candidate will teach Spanish and French across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the wider success of the Modern Foreign Languages department. This role also includes responsibilities as a form tutor and a commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons in Spanish and French to a range of abilities
Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Support the academic and personal development of all students
Contribute to departmental planning and assessment
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and pupil engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS
Have experience teaching Spanish and French in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for language education
Be committed to raising student achievement and progress
Be flexible, organised, and a team player
