Electrical Estimator
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package (£5,000 Car/Travel Allowance + Travel to Site + Pension + Healthcare & more!)

Client:
Our client is an established Tier 1 M&E Contractor with an annual revenue of £650m. They’re recognised for their long history and strong reputation in the construction and engineering sectors, varying in projects from Data Centres, Healthcare, Infrastructure & Commercial. Their projects vary in value anywhere from £20m through to £200m. They are in a fantastic position going into 2026 and have their pipeline already secured.
This role is joining an already established estimating team and work across projects which help expand current skill sets and gain exposure across multiple sectors
Role & Responsibilities:
· Support the Estimating team with Electrical bids and tenders.
· Prepare and submit prime cost estimates.
· Liaise with internal and external engineers, consultants and subcontractors to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
· Analyse drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare estimates.
· Identify and provide alternative design proposals, solutions and value engineering options.
· Establish and maintain tendering processes and conduct negotiations.
· Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
· Monitor targets and workflow.
· Control and organise tender documentation.
· Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and pricing trends.
· Perform other duties at managements’ discretion.
Requirements:
· Technical knowledge of Electrical systems essential.
· Sound Experience in Electrical Estimating.
· Knowledge of the construction industry essential.
· Previous Client facing/customer service experience.
· Strong communication skills should be able to communicate confidently with all members of the construction team, directors, clients and consultants.
· Ability to work on own initiative with confidence and accuracy
