Accounts Assistant | £30,000 - £35,000 | Sevenoaks, Kent
My client is a leading manufacturer within their industry, known for high quality products that are built to last. They are currently hiring for an Accounts Assistant to join their small but busy Accounts team. This role will primarily focus on managing the bought ledger (accounts payable) and supporting with accruals and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements
Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries
Assisting with accruals and prepayments for month-end reporting
Assisting the Finance Director with cashflow and forecasting
Supporting the wider finance team with general accounting tasks as required
Essential Skills:
Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
AAT qualified or studying towards
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
Familiarity with accruals and basic accounting principles
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Package:
£30,000 - £35,000 basic salary
Free parking on site
Hours 9am to 5.30pm with 4pm finish Fridays
35 days holiday per annum
