About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position with responsibility for leading Spanish across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The successful candidate will guide curriculum development, support colleagues, and drive student achievement in Spanish. The school also values cross-language support, so the ability to teach French to Key Stage 4 is highly desirable, though not essential.

We are looking for a Head of Spanish who:
• Holds QTS or a PGCE, with a degree in Spanish or a related subject
• Has experience teaching Spanish across KS3–KS5
• Can teach French to KS4 (preferred but not essential)
• Demonstrates a strong record of raising achievement and working collaboratively
• Possesses excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Is committed to fostering a love of languages and global cultural understanding

Salary & Benefits:
The role offers a permanent contract paid to scale (MPS/UPS) with an attached TLR for leadership responsibilities, commensurate with experience.
