Job Title: Freelance Site Engineer - Setting Out (1-2 Days/Week)
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Site Engineer to assist with setting out for bricklaying works on a part-time basis - 1 to 2 days per week, starting immediately. Must have own kit.

You'll be supporting a residential or commercial build, working closely with the site team to ensure accurate setting out and measurements. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to top up their workload with a flexible, short-term commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for bricklayers and blockwork
Providing clear and accurate points and levels on site
Liaising with the site manager and subcontractors to ensure works follow plans
Ensuring equipment is calibrated and used correctly
Recording as-built information as requiredRequirements:

Proven experience as a Setting Out / Site Engineer
Must have own kit (total station, tripod, laptop/software etc.)
Strong knowledge of setting out for brickwork
Reliable and able to work independently
