Skilled Careers Birmingham office is growing and we are looking for a strong sales consultant to join the T&L team. You will be working in a team with two other consultants and a team resourcer.

We're expanding our Trades & Labour team and looking for a high-level recruitment consultant who can hit the ground running, manage and grow a warm desk, and contribute strategically to the growth of the division.

Day to day

Managing and developing a busy Trades & Labour desk

Building strong client relationships across construction and infrastructure projects

Winning new business and growing existing accounts

Sourcing, screening, and placing top trades professionals

Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team development

Delivering on KPIs with a clear path to leadership if desired

What We’re Looking For

Proven billing success within trades & labour recruitment (ideally £150k+ per year)

Confident in both candidate delivery and client acquisition

Strong market knowledge in construction, trades, or blue-collar staffing

Driven, ambitious, and commercially sharp

Team player who thrives in a high-energy sales environment
