Job Role: Warehouse Goods and Parts Checking Operative
Location: Burgess Hill

Pay Rate: £14-£16 an hour
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Temp for 6 month + - reviewed for extension

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Goods and Parts Checker Assistant to join a busy warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of incoming and outgoing goods, supporting smooth warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
Record discrepancies and report damaged or missing items
Assist with stock control and inventory audits
Collaborate with warehouse operatives and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures
Print and batch pick tickets; coordinate warehouse pulls and returns.
Schedule, track, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper routing and storage.
Safely handle cartons up to 15kg using appropriate tools for heavier items.
Perform general administrative and operational duties as required.What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment - ideally parts checking
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
