Paid to ScaleSpencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a secondary school in Penwortham to recruit a Food Technology Teacher to start immediately on a full-time basis, continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum

Plan, prepare and assess students' work to ensure strong progress

Maintain a safe and well-organised practical classroom environment

Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

Contribute to the wider life of the department and school

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
