Job Description – Care Assistant / Support Worker
We are currently looking to recruit a Care Assistant / Support Worker to provide care and support to individuals within their own home in the Newtownabbey area.
This role involves supporting individuals with their daily routines and personal care needs, helping them to remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own environment.
Shifts are part-time and flexible, with opportunities to take on additional hours when available.
Key Duties
* Assisting with personal care tasks
* Supporting with mobility and daily exercises
* Helping with dressing and undressing
* Assisting in and out of bed
* Preparing light meals or snacks
* Supporting with daily living activities
* Light household duties
* Providing companionship and emotional support
Candidate Requirements
* Caring, reliable, and patient nature
* Ability to work independently
* Living within close proximity to Newtownabbey
* Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential
* Full training will be provided
* Full UK driving licence is desirable
Additional Information
* Part-time role with flexible shifts

* 3-month probationary period
