Job Description

Support the daily leadership and coordination of the procurement team
Support team development through regular 1-2-1s and skills assessment
Drive supplier performance, risk management and cost optimisation
Lead supply chain involvement in new product introduction
Ensure lowest cost of acquisition while maintaining quality and delivery standards
Promote a continuous improvement culture using Lean principles 

Senior Buyer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Ideally 3–5 years’ procurement experience within manufacturing / aerospace
Strong supplier management and negotiation background, with a track record of cost reduction and performance improvement.
Experience in a regulated environment (AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949 or similar)
Our client is open to a Buyer who has led projects, mentored colleagues or taken informal leadership responsibility and is ready to step up
