HLTA / Teaching Assistant - Intervention Group Work - East London

Are you a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA with a passion for small-group intervention work? A welcoming and supportive primary school in East London is seeking a Teaching Assistant or HLTA to run group catch-up sessions across KS1 and KS2 until the end of the academic year.

This Teaching Assistant role involves delivering pre-planned literacy and numeracy interventions, supporting phonics, and managing small pupil groups independently. The Teaching Assistant must be organised, reliable, and able to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant or HLTA who can make a measurable difference with intervention delivery and support school-wide progress. There is the possibility that this Teaching Assistant role could become long-term from September 2025.
