An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant specialist educational setting in Hillingdon. This inclusive environment supports children and young people aged 7–19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, often combined with autism, communication challenges, and complex needs.

The setting offers a holistic, therapeutic approach, with a strong focus on enabling every learner to achieve their full potential—both academically and socially. As part of a highly experienced and nurturing team, you will play a vital role in helping students access the curriculum and develop life skills.

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN across a range of subjects and activities

Implement structured learning programmes and individual education plans (IEPs)

Use communication aids, sensory tools, and visual strategies to enhance engagement

Support students with personal care, emotional regulation, and social interaction

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and support teams

Contribute to a safe, stimulating, and respectful learning environment
