Academics, acting as an agency, are seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher for flexible, temporary ongoing positions within supportive secondary schools in Doncaster.

Position: Drama Teacher (Qualified)

Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
School: Supportive and inclusive secondary school in Doncaster
Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

As a Drama Teacher, you'll inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through creative and dynamic Drama lessons. Whether you're looking for part-time, day-to-day, or longer-term teaching opportunities, this flexible role allows you to work around your schedule while gaining experience in excellent secondary schools across Doncaster.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a passion for performance, creativity, and helping students build confidence both on and off the stage.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Encourage student creativity, teamwork, and confidence through performance.
Prepare pupils for practical and written Drama assessments.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Contribute to school life, including extra-curricular or enrichment activities where possible.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.

Candidate Requirements

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
✔ Degree in Drama or a related subject.
✔ Experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and 4.
✔ A creative, engaging, and adaptable approach.
✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
