Prospero Teaching is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield who are seeking a part-time Teacher of Design Technology to join their creative and supportive department.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled practitioner to teach Resistant Materials across KS3 and KS4, with a small timetable of Art. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students to develop their technical skills, creativity, and understanding of design processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a part‑time teaching position that offers a strong work-life balance while still being part of a dynamic school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or be an ECT with DT specialism
Have experience teaching Resistant Materials
Be able to deliver some Art lessons confidently
Demonstrate strong classroom management and an engaging teaching style
Be available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
