Prospect Training Services (PTS) are seeking a passionate and committed ESOL English tutor to join our supportive Study Programmes team. This is a temporary role, from August 25 to July 26 with working hours of 30 hours a week, Monday to Thursday.

Hours per week: 30 hours a week

Salary: £29,000 per annum pro rata.

As an experienced and qualified tutor, you will work with our ESOL learners to support them to integrate into their community and support with their progression pathways. You must possess the passion and empathy for working with a diverse group of learners aged 16 – 19 years of age where English is not their first language (ESOL), including young people with additional needs. You will use innovative methods to deliver creative, fun and engaging sessions for English with a focus on supporting the learners to achieve their ESOL English qualifications from Pre-Entry Level to Level 2.

This role includes full teaching responsibilities, including developing your own curriculum against standards, planning and preparing sessions and marking work. You will be part of regular team meetings, and we will provide you with professional development opportunities.

Required skills and experience for this FS English tutor role:

* L3 (or above) Education and Training teaching qualification

* Desirable L5 CELTA

* Experience delivering to ESOL Learners

* Assessor Qualification (desirable but not essential)

* Excellent delivery skills and proficient classroom management

* Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English spoken language

* Excellent coordination and organisational skills

* Excellent time management

* Be Innovative, fast thinking and versatile

* Self-motivated, able to work to performance targets and KPIs

* Good general level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office
