We are working with a leading charity committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care to adults in the Preston area and beyond. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join their team and help their clients live as independently and fulfillingly as possible.
What You’ll Do:
*
Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities
*
Support service users with daily activities, personal care, and promoting independence
*
Carry out sleep-in shifts as part of a flexible rota
*
Work closely with colleagues, families and external professionals
*
Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning
What You’ll Need:
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
*
Experience working with adults with mental health needs and/or learning disabilities
*
Health & Social Care qualification (minimum Level 2)
*
A caring, empathetic approach with strong communication skills
*
Ability to work flexible hours including sleep-ins (paid additionally)
*
We do not provide sponsorship – applicants must have the right to work in the UK
