About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Birmingham, specialising in high-quality elderly care. The home supports residents with complex nursing needs, dementia, and age-related conditions.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, delivering person-centred care, and leading a motivated multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dynamic leadership to nursing and care teams, maintaining a positive, inclusive culture.
Ensure full compliance with all CQC standards and company policies.
Oversee clinical governance, medication management, and safeguarding processes.
Manage occupancy levels, care planning, and risk assessments.
Build strong working relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders.
Lead recruitment, appraisals, and staff development.
Monitor budgets, staffing levels, and KPIs to ensure financial sustainability.
Promote a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for residents and staff alike.

Requirements:

Active NMC PIN – RGN, RMN, or RNLD.
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a nursing home setting.
Sound knowledge of the CQC framework and relevant care legislation.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Ability to manage clinical and operational aspects of a nursing home.
