Teaching Assistant

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Pay: £90-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Long-term (term-time only)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming mainstream school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils and contributing positively to the classroom environment.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in the classroom, working with individuals and small groups

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

Help pupils stay engaged, focused and motivated in their learning

Provide additional support to pupils with varying needs, including SEND

Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

A positive, proactive and flexible approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and development

Relevant qualifications or backgrounds in education, childcare or youth work are advantageous but not essential
