The Opportunity:

Branta Recruitment is working on behalf of a respected FM service provider to recruit a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer. This is a mobile role covering commercial sites across Yorkshire, including schools, hospitals, offices, and retail properties.

You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of commercial gas appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will be ACS-qualified, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently on a mobile basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems

*

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory compliance checks

*

Install and commission commercial boilers, heaters, and associated plant

*

Work across schools, retail units, office buildings, healthcare, and other commercial settings

*

Complete all job reports, certifications, and safety documentation accurately and promptly

*

Participate in a rota-based call-out system (paid)

Requirements:

*

ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including:

*

COCN1 or CODNCO1

*

ICPN1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1

*

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial gas engineering role

*

Strong understanding of building services and compliance standards

*

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence – essential

*

Additional plumbing or HVAC knowledge – advantageous
