Role Overview
As a Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional meals and a seamless service. You’ll take an active role in day-to-day kitchen operations, from menu development to food preparation, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and presentation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.

Support the Head Chef in developing balanced, seasonal menus.

Ensure all food is produced safely and meets any dietary or allergen requirements.

Supervise and guide kitchen staff, providing leadership during busy service periods.

Maintain high standards of hygiene, stock control, and presentation.
*
Assist in managing food costs, waste reduction, and stock ordering.
*
Contribute to a positive kitchen culture by supporting and mentoring junior team members.
