Physiotherapist (Special Educational Needs)

Uniform Education is recruiting a dedicated Physiotherapist for a specialist SEN school in Hillingdon. The school provides education and therapy for pupils with a range of complex physical and learning needs, including PMLD, SLD, and physical disabilities.
About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist, you will:

Assess and deliver physiotherapy programmes to pupils with physical, neurological, and developmental needs
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists to support EHCP outcomes
*
Use specialist equipment and manual handling techniques to promote physical development and mobility
*
Support pupils in accessing learning through adapted movement and posture management strategies
*
Provide guidance and training to school staff on safe handling and physical support techniques
*
Maintain accurate therapy records and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and reports
What We’re Looking For:
*
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist (essential)
*
Experience working with children or young people with physical disabilities or complex needs (school or NHS setting desirable)
*
Knowledge of postural management, hydrotherapy, and equipment use (e.g. standing frames, hoists)
*
Confident in manual handling and safe movement techniques
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to care
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
