CNC Machinist - Multi-Axis (Day & Night Shifts)

Contract Duration: Approx. 6 months with the potential for permanent placement
Rate: £40 p/h UMB / up to £33.47 PAYE

We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join a leading motorsport team for a precision-focused project. With shifts available on both day and night patterns, this role will see you working with state-of-the-art Mazak and Doosan multi-axis machines to manufacture components for high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture precision components according to supplied CAD and engineering drawings.

Operate and set multi-axis CNC machines with a variety of controllers.

Confidently program parts online-fully or partially as required.

Set and operate multiple machines during peak build seasons.

Maintain program and tooling records for all components produced.

Provide feedback to Production Engineering to improve programs and machining methods.

Manage workflow on machines to maximise output without compromising quality.

Conduct basic inspection of parts to ensure quality of batches.

Maintain shift handover records with other shift-based employees.

Contribute positively to health and safety standards on the shop floor.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience with Mazak and Doosan multi-axis CNC machines.

Strong programming skills and experience with multi-axis machining.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Strong understanding of quality control and basic inspection processes.

Experience maintaining programming and tooling records.

Ability to contribute to safety standards and adhere to shop floor protocols.

What We Offer:

Competitive pay rates: £40 p/h UMB or up to £33.47 PAYE.
