About the Role:
An excellent secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dynamic team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stage 3, inspiring students and promoting a deep understanding of scientific principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach General Science to students in KS3, following the national curriculum.

Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

Work collaboratively with the Science Department to plan lessons and share best practices.

Support the school's ethos and contribute to extra-curricular science activities where appropriate.

Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 level (KS4 experience is a plus but not essential).

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

Passionate about science education and committed to student achievement.

Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs.
