W Talent are working exclusively with a dynamic manufacturing business based in Kings Lynn, seeking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, large-scale manufacturing facility where you will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Information

The role primarily involves reactive and preventative maintenance with a mechanical bias, although multi-skilled candidates are encouraged to apply. The client is open to candidates from a variety of industrial backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement and ensure equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on completed work.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment as required.
Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing, Engineering, plastics or FMCG environment.
Mechanical bias preferred; however, multi-skilled engineers with electrical knowledge are also welcomed.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeships desirable.
