Pay: £13.69 – £15.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants for ad hoc cover work in local nurseries. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, work flexibly, and make a difference in the lives of young children.
As this is a flexible position, you choose the days you're available—perfect for those with other commitments or looking to supplement existing work.
Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities (Level 2/3 qualified):
Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children aged 0–5
Support children’s development through engaging activities
Follow safeguarding, EYFS, and health & safety procedures
Work effectively with staff and parents
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
Experience in a nursery or early years setting
Nursery Assistant Responsibilities (Unqualified/Entry Level):
Assist with daily routines, play, and learning activities
Support qualified staff in delivering high-quality childcare
Ensure a clean, safe, and happy environment
Build positive relationships with children and staff
Requirements:
Passion for working with children
Some childcare experience (formal or informal) preferred
Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
