Accounts Administrator
Reports To: Finance Director
Location: Office based
Job Type: Full time, permanent. 45hours per week
Salary: £25,500 per annum
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the finance team. Working witin a team of 6, this role focuses primarily on managing the sales ledger and ensuring smooth communication with clients, with the potential to provide additional support across the wider Accounts department as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Raise invoices and credit notes for the Sales Ledger
* Monitor and manage the Accounts inbox
* Respond to and resolve client queries in a professional and timely manner
* Please note: These are your core duties. You may occasionally be required to assist with additional tasks to support broader business needs.
Secondary Responsibilities (Support Cover – Training provided)
* Complete weekly Sales Ledger reports
* Report monthly credit notes at month-end
* Assist with Purchase Ledger duties
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an Accounts or Administrative role (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
