Responsibilities of the Science ECT role include:

Teaching general Science across KS3 and your specialism at KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

Using practical work, experiments, and simulations to bring the curriculum to life

Adapting teaching to suit a range of learners including EAL and SEN
*
Supporting student progress through regular feedback and clear target setting
*
Engaging in departmental collaboration and planning
*
Developing your teaching style through weekly observations and mentoring
*
Participating in STEM initiatives and school-wide enrichment opportunities
*
Reflecting on your practice to become a confident, skilled Science teacher
