Strategy Education are urgently looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a school based in Maldon Essex.

The role is for an immediate start and will be full time until July 2026 with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

* You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support students who may be experiencing behavioural or are emotionally challenged.

Build positive and meaningful relationships with students to encourage engagement and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.

*

Provide class support and work with students 1:1 or in small groups, helping them stay focused and achieve their goals.

The ideal person

*

Will have experience working with young people in an educational or youth work setting who display challenging behaviour.

*

Will be able to work under pressure, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

*

You will be committed to inclusion and passionate about supporting all students, regardless of background or ability.
