We welcome applications from people who have been:

Apprentice-trained fitters, Plant Fitters, HGV/PSV Technicians, Vehicle Technicians, Coachbuilders, Hydraulic Engineers, or anyone with relevant mechanical experience.

Duties of the Mechanical Fitter opportunities:

Fitting and assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic components to vehicles
Working from basic engineering drawings and build instructions
Mounting bespoke components to vehicles
Ensuring all work meets quality standards
Maintaining records and documentation
High standard of housekeeping and H&S adherenceIdeal experience or background for the Mechanical Fitter:

Mechanical or engineering background (vehicle, plant, hydraulic, or industrial)
Able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
Good initiative and work ethic
Use hand and power tools

Starting wage up to £14.50 an hr
Plenty of overtime at time-and-a-half
Early Friday finish
