Building Fabric Project Manager - Permanent Opportunity

Location: Field-based with regional travel

Salary: up to £60,000 + Car/Allowance + Pension + Benefits

We're working with a specialist contractor to recruit a skilled Building Fabric Project Manager to lead the delivery of refurbishment, maintenance, and new build works across commercial and public sector sites. This is a hands-on role overseeing all aspects of building fabric projects-from planning and procurement to site coordination and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities

Manage building fabric projects from inception to completion
Prepare scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical documentation
Coordinate procurement, contractor appointments, and supplier management
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards
Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Report on project status, risks, and performance to senior management Candidate Requirements

Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years' experience in building fabric project delivery
Strong knowledge of materials, systems, and construction methods
Experience with project planning tools and CRM software (e.g. SimPro)
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
DBS certification (essential - will be processed during onboarding)
CSCS and SMSTS (desirable or willingness to work towards)
