We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MIS/Exams Manager to join a busy educational setting in Worksop on a temporary 2-month basis. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with a strong background in managing Management Information Systems and coordinating all aspects of examinations within a school or college environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate student data, ensuring compliance with examination board regulations, and supporting the smooth running of the exam process from entry to results. You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and exam invigilators to deliver a reliable and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the school’s MIS, ensuring data accuracy and security.
* Oversee all examination arrangements, timetables, entries, and results.
* Liaise with awarding bodies, staff, and students regarding exam processes and queries.
* Provide reports and data analysis to support school operations and performance monitoring.
* Ensure compliance with JCQ and other relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an MIS or Exams Manager role (education sector preferred).
* Strong IT and data management skills, including SIMS or similar systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Must hold a current Enhanced DBS cerificate
